The Global Security Monitoring and Incident Response (MIR) team at Roche strives to keep our networks and users safe from constantly evolving threats. As a Vulnerability Management Security Analyst, you will help protect proprietary information, patient data, keep computer systems and web applications secure, and provide a safe information environment for our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess company web applications using both automated and manual tools

  • Evaluate and prioritize security issues submitted via a bug-bounty program

  • Use enterprise vulnerability management tools to identify systems that pose the greatest risk to Roche

  • Communicating risk and working with system owners and other teams to mitigate security vulnerabilities

  • Improving capabilities for responding to security vulnerabilities and incidents through tool building, scripting, and training

  • Participating in global security monitoring for a global environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s in a relevant field or 3+ years in the information security field

  • Experience should have an emphasis on web application, network, and computer security

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Web application, network, and computer security assessments

  • Attack surface management experience

  • Cloud security experience

  • Programming experience (e.g. Python, Node.js, JavaScript)

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, triage, and escalate security vulnerabilities

  • Familiarity with various defensive and offensive security tool sets

  • Familiarity with mobile security is a plus

  • Experience working in a large, global, and complex environment

  • Ability to communicate information security related risks, concepts, and situations to a nontechnical audience

  • A passion for the field of computer and network security

  • Fluent English, German is a plus
